1. Supports direct SMT mounting. Compact in size, resistant to deformation and easy for maintenance.
2. Can replace shielding frames in certain applications, eliminating the tooling cost for shielding frame molds.

3. After the clips are soldered onto the PCB, the shielding cover can be simply clipped in place. It delivers better soldering flatness compared with conventional shielding frames.

Generally, 4 to 8 shielding clips are required to replace one shielding frame. It should be noted that shielding clips provide inferior anti-interference performance and occupy more PCB space. Currently, shielding clips are not applied in mobile phones. They are suitable for products with low requirements for integration and space constraints to cut costs.
